Too Fat for a Corset?

Am I too fat for a corset? Hell No!
I get asked this question all the time and the answer is simple ~ NO! Nobody is too fat or too skinny, if you want to wear a corset then you absolutely should! Who is stopping you? Society or your self confidence? Don't let either stop you, why should it? As for peoples opinions, that is their issue to deal with, not yours.
I put a picture on an article once of a woman who was an approximate size 26 in a corset and some people were outraged, saying I was encouraging obesity etc. That is Nonsense, I am simply saying that if YOU want to wear a corset, then you should. Had I put an anorexic girl in a corset, I probably would have had the same response. Sometimes I will never win, but my point will always remain the same: We are all women, we should empower one another and stand by one another, since when did size get in the way? Unfortunately there are some very shallow in this world, but I am of the believe that we are all equal, no matter what out size, how much money we have in the bank or whether we are straight, bi sexual or gay. What difference should these things make to other people?
Nobody should be judged on their size (or anything else), whether you are a size 0 or a size 26. I'm a size 10, I was a size 14 at one point but I wasn't comfortable being that size, so I changed it. But that's just me and I know that not everyone is like me and that's brilliant, why would we all want to be the same. HAD I been comfortable with my size, shape or skin I may have remained a 14. The point is, if you are comfortable in your skin, then embrace your body and wear a corset if you want to. Corsets are amazing creations that come in all sizes, patterns and fabrics and should be adored by all women alike, it's just about finding the right corset for your particular size and shape and what styles you prefer, whether it's an over bust corset or an under bust corset.
If you don't have much confidence but would love to have a corset, then make it a steel boned corset and I'd recommend an under bust style corset. That way you can wear it over shirts, blouses and most tops and feel confident and not too exposed.
Don't let others tell you how to dress, dress for yourself and be yourself ladies.
At The Burgandy Boudoir I believe all women have the right to feel fabulous in a corset and I provide steel boned corsets up to a natural waist of 45". If you need a bigger size corset, no problem, email me through the website and I'll get that sorted for you.
